UH OH...... BIG UH OH

So Dave always has a dog on his hitch for the truck. Due to the accident the dog came off the truck so when Benjamin saw it today I asked him where the dog was. He said Uh Oh and went straight to the truck to find the dog, while he tried to at least. He seemed very upset that the truck was broken and the dog was missing.

Enough Allready

I have come to the conclusion that I have a giant sign attached to me that reads "Please hit me" and under this giant sign the fine print states "I will be stopped like I always am when you slam your vehicle into the rear end of mine, so please by all means don't pay any attention to the truck or mini van that is stopped right in front of you, don't even try and stop your vehicle because mine will stop it for you." I really think that the back of my truck and mini van say this because in the past two years I have been involved in five accidents. Four of these accidents I have been stopped either at a red light or because of traffic in front of me. As I recall it all began Easter Sunday 2008. That was the only moving accident and the only one that Dave was driving in. A girl made an illegal left hand turn and we ended up hitting the side of her car. (Dave's Truck) The next one was about a month later when we bought the mini van. I just picked the van up from the dealership. I was stopped at a red light when a guy drove his pickup 30mph into the back of the van. Really for both these accidents I was pregnant with Benjamin. It was then that I decided that he will never get his license. And I thought that with both vehicles in accidents we were done for a long time. Oh boy was I wrong. So the next one was a hit and run accident. I was stopped at a red light waiting to turn left when a commercial National Grid truck sideswiped the back of my van. He just kept right on going and I was unable to get his information so I ended up paying to fix the van. Ok things happen I was mad but it got fixed. So I made it through a whole nine months without an accident. Good thing because I was pregnant with Julie. How nice I got a break. . . or so I thought. January 2010 I was stopped at a red light with Benjamin Julie and my nephew Conner in the van and guess what yup sure enough I get rear ended but this time wouldn't you know it was by a Town of Tonawanda Police Officer. Only my luck. All the kids were ok Thank GOD! So Julie had her first car accident and Benjamin had his third? while this would count as his first as well because he was not born yet for the other two so I guess it depends on who is counting. I have not even gotten the van fixed yet because I just got this resolve about three weeks ago, and Guess what happened. . . . Any takers? Right again April 10th (yesterday) I was driving the truck home from my coworkers wedding I stopped because the person in front of me stopped and next think I know a guy goes 40mph into the back of the truck. He hit me so hard that his airbags deployed. So now I get to do it all over again. How fun for me. So I was looking online to see if I was just cursed or people really get into this many accidents and what I found was that the highway department estimated that each driver gets into an accident at least once every six years. HA HA HA HA surly they did not take me into account when they decided this. I guess I should maybe get a job with the insurance company because I am always filling out paperwork for them. And I wonder if it is possible for an insurance company to drop you for two many accidents in a limited time. . . .is this something I need to start worrying about? ONLY ME never would I imaged that this is even possible. I guess I am proof that anything is possible. Anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent people from hitting you when you are stopped at a red light or due to other traffic? If there is a trick please let me know.

What is different?

So I know that I have not posted in over a year and a lot has happened, but I kind of gave up because everything I am going to post gets done by Dave. He keeps up way better than I do with the blog thing. I did however see something that he did not notice while I was in the hospital. I thought it deserved attention. What is different in these two pictures? And the answer is the babies, one is Benjamin the other is Julie. Mom however is almost the exact same except for she added a watch to the hospital outfit for Julie. Sorry Momma but I could not help to point this out and if and when we ever have another baby we do expect the same shirt for the picture so please don't loose it.

The Circle of Insanity

So my godchild Ehryn and her sister Emma came to spend the night on the 2oth. Ehryn is three and Emma is seven months old. This was set up to happen weeks ago. So my sister last minute had a babysitter issue. She asked me if I could watch Conner who is two months old as well. I had told her that I was already going to have three kids at the house and that it was going to be really hard with four, but I could not say no to my nephew. I had Dave home to help and Mom and Dad came over for a few hours to lend us a helping hand. I now know why it is physically impossible to have children less than nine months apart unless you are the few blessed with twins. (glad that is not me) It was a very interesting evening. Every time Ben or Conner cried the other one would start. I had Emma sleep in Ben's crib, Ehryn sleep in the bed in Ben's room, Conner slept in the pack n play downstairs with me on the couch and Ben got the bassinet in our room with Dave. Emma slept through the night, Ehryn got up once at four am thinking it was morning luckily she went back to sleep till seven. Conner was up at twice during the night. I woke Ben up at five thirty when he normally gets up just so he would be changed and fed. All of the kids seemed to be up at seven. I took Ehryn to get donuts then took Conner home at eight. Ehryn and Emma got picked up at ten. From twelve till two Ben and I took a nap while Dave cut the grass. I was so tired. Insanity having that many kids at the house all night.
